VITAL MTB REVIEWS THE LOAM POST GEN 2

Vital MTB is a staple of the bike blog universe. Before we even started PNW, we would do deep dives on their content and reviews to find out what's good in the world of bike parts. Recently, they spent time on our Loam Dropper Gen 2 and came back with the hot tea, as the kids say. It was fresh, good, and had more polyphenols than a cup of coffee***. Basically, the news is you don’t have to just trust us that this dropper will exceed your expectations; you can trust the experts themselves. Here's some highlights, combined with our thoughts on the matter. Find the full review here.

STACK IT LIKE AN OREO

"In terms of dimensions, the Loam was already quite competitive, but PNW went back to the drawing board and managed to make the Gen 2 even more compact up top."

Lowered stack height plus additional travel sizes means better fits and more drop across a variety of bike frames and rider profiles.

Smooth operator

"The action of the post itself is smooth... Just a very solid movement, without any extra play or sloppiness in any direction."

Paired with the Loam Lever, our goal has been to make you think of a hot knife through butter when you're activating your dropper. Honestly, though, we hope you're just thinking about the trail in front of you.

***An earlier version of this blog article stated that tea has more polyphenols than coffee. This is a lie. Coffee generally has more polyphenols per 100 ml than tea, but the total amount you get depends on your beverage choices and consumption habits.
