GO GO GRAVEL

MARTHA SHREDS THE LAKE DISTRICT

We love that gravel bikes land us at the cross section of mountain and road, taking the best of both worlds and allowing us the freedom to explore new terrain in different ways. PNW Ambassador, Martha Gill, outfitted her gravel rig with our full suite of products and put it through its paces in the UK Lake District to show just how capable these bikes can be when you have the right components to unlock their full potential. THE COAST HANDLEBAR

IN THE DROPS

A few years back, we started playing around with wider bars on our mountain bikes. Trendy? Yes. Beneficial? Absolutely. As it turns out these same benefits extend to drop bars, which is why we designed the ultra wide Coast. These bars give you more stability, better control, and extra comfort, so you can get zesty on that stretch of singletrack you never thought you’d hit on a drop bar bike.

THE COAST STEM

FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMP

Our Coast Stem and Coast Handlebar were made for each other, and they never needed to have their horoscope read to prove it. Gram-for-dollar, it’s one of the lightest stems available, keeping company with products four times its price. We suggest putting a shorter stem than you might be used to on a drop bar bike when increasing handlebar width. Our Coast Stem also moonlights as a great option for XC riders.

THE COAST DROPPER POST

SQUISH + DROP

For people wanting to get really weird on their gravel bike, we designed the Coast Post, which combines the benefits of a dropper with the joint saving squish of suspension. The witchcraft all happens via a dual chamber hydraulic cartridge featuring 40mm of tunable air suspension intended to take the bite out of bigger impacts before they get to your trusty glutes and lower back. Add to that the full functionality of a traditional dropper post, and you have the ultimate gravel ride upgrade.
