We can't promise to keep your hands warm as the seasons change, but we can keep your paws feeling fresh with our customer loved Loam Grip. We packed this grip full of features, like an ultra tacky compound and ergonomic pattern to support your palms and help relieve any fatigue caused by trail chatter and long days in the saddle.

Water Shedding Fins

Beefing up the outer zone of the grip with a heartier design not only helps absorb more vibration it also wicks water off on rainy day rides.

Happy Camper Compound

A blend that’s soft enough to absorb vibration, yet firm enough to keep its shape under pressure. Striking a balance between ultra soft materials that wear too quickly and a harder compound with no tactile benefits.

Pattern Play

The Loam Grip features two contrasting patterns and these dueling motifs play an important ergonomic role. Thin strips run horizontally across the grip’s surface for enhanced traction and supple feel, while the thicker mountain pattern helps support the pad of your hand. Beefing up this outer zone with a heartier design combats compound deterioration, ensures the grip is absorbing more vibration and provides needed structure to support the additional body weight pressing down on this area.

How Does Travel Adjust work?

Our travel adjust system allows for a total of 30mm travel reduction in 5mm increments. If you were riding that line between travel sizes you can now fine-tune the perfect fit by following the easy directions below:

  1. Begin by lowering your dropper at or below the desired travel length (just make sure it’s not fully extended!)
  2. Unthread the midcap with your hand and slide it up to reveal the white DU Bushing.
  3. You’ll see negative numbers with corresponding notches machined into the post (each # represents decreasing travel.
  4. Slide the DU bushing up and rotate it to align the black arrow with the amount of travel you would like to reduce, then seat the arrow into the machined groove. (Make sure it’s fit securely into these notches!)
  5. After pushing the DU Bushing back down, lower the midcap and hand tighten (no need to go overboard!) and ride off into the sunset with the perfect travel for you.

FAQ

Is there a specific left/right?

Yep! When installed you will want the clamp bolts toward the rear of the bike for ease of access, when adjusting.

Do these grips lock on the bars?

They do! They have a single lock ring that clamps the grips to your bars.

What size handlebars do these fit?

Our Loam grips fit almost all mountain bike/flat handlebars with the standard grip end of 22.2mm. This includes those with a 31.8mm or 35mm center clamp size.

How sticky are these?!

They're "sticky" in the sense that they provide great traction, even when wet, but will not leave residue on your hands.
