While the industry is trending towards frames with longer reach and wider handlebars, the stretched out position this puts riders in is often an afterthought. With 10° back sweep and 5° upsweep, the Range Handlebar creates a more ergonomic riding position that’s easier on your shoulders and reduces wrist fatigue.
The Bar that’s got your Back
Material Matters
The Range features 2014 Aluminum Alloy, a trail friendly material resembling carbon’s chatter absorbing qualities in a more cost conscious and durable package.
The KW Edition Promise
We developed this product with pro rider Kyle Warner who wanted to do something special with his part of the proceeds. We’ve pledged to give 5% of all sales to NICA, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, to support getting kids into mountain biking.

The Numbers Behind Comfort
While it’s no secret that bike frame designers are favoring longer reach numbers and we’re all enjoying stability from wider bars, what’s often left out of the conversation is the new pressure points these trends create for high impact areas like the ol’ bird bones in your wrist. The Range Handlebar addresses this with a bar that will put you in a more comfy position.
10° back sweep and 5° upsweep
This combination helps put your shoulder blades in a more neutral position, especially while climbing and can help reduce unwanted wrist fatigue downhill sections.
30mm Rise
Like a good sourdough bread, the rise of a handlebar is also another important part of the equation. We picked 30mm to keep your front end low enough on the longer travel bikes while providing good height for the increasingly popular 120-140mm travel trail rigs.
How Does Travel Adjust work?
Our travel adjust system allows for a total of 30mm travel reduction in 5mm increments. If you were riding that line between travel sizes you can now fine-tune the perfect fit by following the easy directions below:
- Begin by lowering your dropper at or below the desired travel length (just make sure it’s not fully extended!)
- Unthread the midcap with your hand and slide it up to reveal the white DU Bushing.
- You’ll see negative numbers with corresponding notches machined into the post (each # represents decreasing travel.
- Slide the DU bushing up and rotate it to align the black arrow with the amount of travel you would like to reduce, then seat the arrow into the machined groove. (Make sure it’s fit securely into these notches!)
- After pushing the DU Bushing back down, lower the midcap and hand tighten (no need to go overboard!) and ride off into the sunset with the perfect travel for you.

FAQ
Can I cut these down to make them narrower?
Yep! You can trim the Range bar down if you prefer a narrower bar width, we have a guide on the bars for measurement ease. Kyle likes to chop his down to 740mm.
Which levers are compatible with these bars?
For flat/mountain bike bars we recommend our Loam lever, Puget 1x, or Puget 2x lever.
Why doesn’t the Range come in a 35mm clamp diameter?
This particular bar is all about ergonomics. 35mm have a harsher ride quality and until we can get a similar ride profile we’re sticking to 31.8. But watch this space!
Which stem diameter is compatible with these bars?
Our Range bars are compatible with 31.8 diameter clamp stems, including our 31.8 Range and Coast stems.
